Scooten Scooters, Little Cayman

My husband and I flew to Little Cayman from Grand Cayman for a day of birding.  Bruce met us at the airport and got us set up with two scooters and helmets.  I hadn't ridden a scooter in 40 years so was quite hesitant at first.  Bruce offered encouragement but no pressure and offered to change our rental agreement to one scooter if I felt more comfortable that way.  I practised for a while on the little used roads and was confident enough to scoot around for the short spurts needed to take us from pond to pond.  We had a fabulous day scouting out the island and the scooters were perfect for our needs.  There was no problem pulling over to the side of the road whenever we wanted to stop and explore a particular location.  Saw lots of great birds, had fun riding, and had no problems operating the well-maintained scooters, complete with a full tank of gas.  One suggestion to keep in mind.  If it's a windy day, be sure to have sunglasses that give adequate eye protection.  There are no visors on either the scooters or the helmets to break the wind.  We would not hesitate to recommend Scooten Scooters for your transportation needs on Little Cayman.
